My cruise on board the Celebrity Century was booked by my parents for my 40th Birthday for me and my wife (my parents were present too - they acted like tour guides) we were booked into Concierge class on the 9th deck

On embarking at Barcelona the procedure was very good and very smooth from getting on the bus at the airport to going thru the registration procedure.

Got on board and the room was beautiful with a chilled bottle of sparkly ready to drink. had a good look round the room before opening cases - just to admire the set up. Unfortunately the outside balcony glass was being held in with hand towels (lots of them!) i presume to stop either the glass from falling out or to stop it vibrating. Also the coat hooks next to the bed were held on with one screw and some sellotape. The shower head (being trivial now) - was not the Hansgrohe® shower head mentioned on the website!

Cabin Review

Cabin con

Bad maintenance in room, ie balcony glass held in with lots of hand towels, air con and cold water never got cold!! Coat rack held on with one screw and sellotape
