The opportunity to be on board in Venice for entire duration of the 'Festa del Redentore' was the principal attraction for us.

We have travelled with Azamara before and we have found the atmosphere on board to be really, really delightful. The staff are universally helpful, and the service is beyond reproach.

We met many lovely people, and were able to feel 'special'. The food in the specialty restaurants, particularly Prime C, is outstanding, and even though we did not opt for a drinks upgrade (in my opinion Azamara should abandon this unnecessary policy and make the experience truly all-inclusive), we found the complimentary wines perfectly acceptable.

Cabin Review

Club Continent Suite

Cabin N2

Clean, spacious stateroom, with all the facilities you are likely to need. Walk-in shower in this suite. One minor niggle: for this grade of travel, the bath-towels could be larger.

Port Reviews

Giardini Naxos (Sicily)

We took the tender and strolled along the Lungomare for an hour or so. Very pleasant, but Giardini Naxos is 'touristy'

I would add that the wi-fi internet service was at best patchy, with little or no information available. The service was improved when the ship was stationary i.e. near land, but when at sea, it was pretty hopeless.

Also the ship seems to have a bit of a 'shimmy' in some seas when going at full-speed it lasts about 10-15 seconds, and occurs intermittently. It's almost as if the ship is shuddering from stem to stern.
