This was our second Royal Caribbean cruise. We really liked them for our trip last year so decided to do it again. We chose a Mediterranean cruise this time and we're glad we did. The food was good, the staff were friendly, the excursion were fun with one exception (Barcelona wasn't quite the "highlights" show we expected but we spoke to the staff at the Shore Excursions counter and got a partial refund). This was also the first time we got a balcony room ... we booked with a Stateroom Guarantee and got an upgrade. We liked it but our last trip was a outside state room and I didn't enjoy the balcony room any more than I had the other room. The only hiccup was the disembarking. We were all shepherded outside even before the buses were at the dock waiting to take us to various destinations. I'm not sure who's at fault for that but it would have been nice if all of the buses had been there early so we wouldn't have had to scrounge for a ride to the airport. We still like Royal Caribbean and have booked our next trip with them in 2019.
