1. We chose this cruise for the date, ports of call, starting/ending location and availability of ASL interpreters (requested 2 months in advance)
2. We absolutely loved The Pearl Island Beach Eay with Lunch excursion when we were in Nassau. The island was tiny but cozy and welcoming. It was not crowded or chaotic. The swimming cove is small but felt spacious. There was a floating trampoline and two other floating mats that several people could be on at once. There were also a few paddle boards and tandem kayaking that guests could take turns using (no extra cost that I observed- people were just getting on and off them without talking to the life guard.
The staff was great on the island. My boyfriend proposed to me up at the top of the lighthouse and they allowed us to walk through the inside of the lighthouse and their photographer took pictures. We purchased two and they gave my fiancé an additional one for free with the words "She said yes!" printed on it.
The cabin was small. The bed was pushed up against the wall in the corner so one person had to crawl over the other to get in/out if needed after we went to sleep. We managed to find enough places to put things after we unpacked. Our standard internet was slower in the room and definitely not as strong as when we were in other public places.
The cabin seemed a bit old and worn out. The beds weren't that comfortable. The shower was tiny but that wa expected. It did not smell but the bathroom shelves and drawers in the room were dusty (we lined the drawers with plastic bags)
We had a port hole window
