We booked this cruise on 2 aspects, ports of call and being a new ship. We purchased the Aurea package with the focus on my time dining and drink package.

We boarded in Naples, what chaos! As they began boarding the Select room packages, the crowd erupted, people fighting and yelling. MSC, did not handle this with any professionalism or organization.

Generally ship is a cross in design of RCL/Celebrity ships. However, space to passenger ratio makes common areas and buffet area very busy and congested. Pools always congested and many passengers hogged beds. No clear policy on timelines of unoccupied beds.

Cabin Review

Cabin Aurea

We had room 14036, an Accesible room. Be aware, this room is not accommodating with the third person. The third bed is a pull down from the ceiling in front of the bed. Blocking the veranda access and access to the other side of the bed. What a horrible design. We got a bed brought up for our special needs son. Other than this issue, cabin is typical, TV could have been better intalled with a flexible TV mount. Couldn't watch it from the bed. Cabin stewards are overwhelmed. They cant keep up. Calls for missing items never got addresed.

Had to go for toilet paper run in common area washrooms. We did not like the position balcony under a canopy where room is indented to the ship. No views of sea oncoming or out going.
