This is my second time on the Star in a year. Last summer we went on the Baltic cruise and had a great time. These cruises are itinerary focused so the time on ship is minimal otherwise I would have preferred NCL's newer ships. But the weather was perfect, the ship was on time, the food was good and I got home safe and happy. What more could you want? Everything I needed on board the ship was provided. Yes, she's an older ship and has some wear and tear, but overall she gets the job done. Not five stars but a solid four!

PORTS and Grades

Overall, lots of walking. I averaged close to ten miles each day in port and each day in Venice but that's what I do! We were in a severe heat wave this entire cruise with temperatures above 100 almost each day. (That happened too last year in the Baltics).

Cabin Review

Oceanview Porthole Window

I had an oceanview cabin on deck 8. It was roomy, clean and everythng worked. My cabin steward was spot on and I had no complaints.
