We had a hiccup at the start of the cruise, we left 7 hours late, still have no clue as to what the problem was. Captain was not very forthcoming with information. First technical issue then electrical issue. Plus was since we arrived at 3 pm the next day in Havana we stayed an extra day and missed the out island. $100.00 credit to each stateroom due to the inconvenience plus again no explanation in the letter that was delivered. really think NCL could have stepped it up with a little more than $100.00.
Havana is a must, the old cars, the Tropicana, waterfront, artist in the market area and outside of the market area, just walking through the streets is an experience. Never once felt uneasy, people were very friendly, very few individuals asking for handouts.
Hats off to the shore excursion desk Daniel Domenico Lopardo and his staff did an amazing job. Since we arrived late some tours had to be cancelled and refunded, all taken care of without an issue and staying the extra day added tours which needed to be booked. They were also very knowledgeable with each tour
Could have been cleaned better. Wife always wipes the cabin down prior us to unpacking suitcases, guess that is due to the 30 plus years in the health care field. The baby wipes were rather dirty after she was finished. We have been on some ships that the wipes never get dirty and with 25 plus cruises in our past we have seen some very clean and some very dirty cabins.
