We booked this cruise as a family cruise with my daughter, husband and grand children. My main complaint is that this company nickel and dimes you on everything. For example, we had to pay $26+ every night for the pleasure of having someone make our bed and $50 for someone to move our bags! We were pleased that our grandchildren enjoyed the kids club but there wasn't anything suitable for us as older cruisers. There were some alternate restaurants that you had to pay for and they were were expensive. On the whole the food was plentiful but we don't want to eat burgers, hotdogs and the like. There were some Asian alternative on the buffet counters and we enjoyed them. On most of the shore stops we found our own transportation as the ones offered on the ship were about twice as expensive. The one we booked was a train journey at Skagway and I don't recommend it. It took 3 hours and other than lots of trees and a few waterfalls there wasn't much to see. We had a cabin with a balcony. The room itself was clean but the bathroom smelled badly and we had to request two times before someone cleaned it with disinfectant. The deck was dirty and didn't look as it if had been cleaned for a long time. The embarkation and departure both went smoothly and they have a good system for doing both. If we do another cruise, we will probably look for another cruiseline.
