  3. Grandeur of the Seas
This cruise was chosen by my mom because she had never been to Bermuda. A group of 18 family and friends accompanied her to celebrate her 80th birthday. The age ranges were from 18 months to 80 years. Aboard the service was efficient and very personal. Every need was met as well as some anticipated needs. The staff and crew were friendly and personable with a great emphasis on customer satisfaction. The tour guide we acquired in Bermuda, Mr. T., was a seasoned native who was excellent and knew the island very well. The port has many of the "flavors" of the island in the Clock Tower Mall which is within walking distance of the dock. Nassau has breathtakingly beautiful homes occupied by many famous persons which are best seen, in my opinion, via the waterways tours. Paradise Island which contains Atlantis was also very beautiful. The architecture, extravagant chandeliers/fixtures and history contained therein was interesting as well. CocoCay has constructively expanded since I was there last with many more chairs/loungers on the beach, reasonable pricing for the all day umbrella rentals, volleyball, basketball and a children's water play area. The tenders ran frequently and efficiently to the island. Plans for a pier are in the works within the next 2-3 years. About 8 of our cruisers were first timers who stated they would definitely cruise again!!!
