Emerald's customer service was outstanding, all the way from our first phone call to make initial inquiries to the very end of the trip, when we were dropped off at Amsterdam Airport.

Our trip began with three days in Prague, where the K & K Hotel was great - centrally located and walking distance to all the wonderful sites. Our local guide and host, Martin Maly, was fantastic - full of good humor, anecdotes and knowledge. A special dinner hosted at a local restaurant adjacent to a museum was the highlight of the Prague trip.

On board the ship (we boarded in Budapest), our cruise director, Alex Berger and the entire crew were extremely friendly, flexible, and always willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable. The waiters in the dining room even remembered our tastes in condiments and made sure to have them ready for us at our table each and every day. Our cabin attendant was just as amiable and ready to assist us at all times. The night cruise along the shores of Budapest on our first night was truly magnificent. We enjoyed every minute of it.

Cabin Review

Cabin Panorama Balcony Vista Deck

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Bed and bath linens were impeccable and the inclusion of an alarm clock and a small nightlight in the bathroom were pleasantly unexpected conveniences. The size and layout of the cabin were not all that great. The sliding bathroom door is right next to the bed and one can reach it from the bed. The gap between bed and bathroom is so narrow that only one person can fit in it. The bathroom itself is also very tiny but serviceable nonetheless. The sliding window/balcony combo was a fabulous thing to have. We could look out on the shoreline and all the beautiful castles and natural beauty as we sailed along the Danube, Main & Rhine rivers.
