Cabin: Deluxe Veranda 2B
Traveled with children

This was our 3rd sailing with Celebrity.

Don't get me wrong, Alaska was AMAZING. The passage thru Endecott fjord and the Dawes glacier was a true Experience. The ship got very close to the glacier and Captain Tasos made sure everyone got a good view from their balcony, regardless what side of the ship you were on.

If it hadn't been for Captain Tasos and Steve, the cruise director, I might have given it less than 3 stars. These two made our trip truly enjoyable despite the mediocre food and less than friendly staff.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

The cabin was a nice size, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. It was a bummer that you were not able to connect a chromecast or fire tv to watch your videos or photos on a larger screen.

The bathroom was spacious. They have two configurations for the room. We happened to get one with the bed closer to the veranda. It was nice to lay in bed and look at the land/seascape. My daughter had the same room but with the bed closer to the bathroom. It made the whole room look smaller, more cramped.

Port Reviews

Juneau

Nice town but our ship docked so far from everyone else, it was a hike getting there and back. We had a stroller, so I did not feel comfortable taking public transportation.

Seattle

Seattle is a beautiful city. Our flight arrived very early so we took our time to get to port. We took the Link train to Westlake station. You have a beautiful view of the area surrounding Seattle and the city from the train. The train is $3 a person, $1 for seniors. We walked 5 minutes to Pike Market and explored the amazing flower shops and other stands. A must see. Our Uber to the ship was $10 and our Uber driver was hilarious. It is amazing how much luggage a Toyota Prius can handle.
