This was our first cruise and we were not disappointed, We picked up the ship at Majorca and could not criticise anything. The staff were amazing and great fun. Ova and Mary in the Bar Teams were first class, although all the staff were polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were excellent, with plenty of places to eat and drink The curry night was fab and the fine dining waiter service was brilliant as well. Our rooms were kept spotless and there was fresh towels and beach towels daily.

We went on the Mediterranean cruise and the only disappointment was Morocco, Casablanca. Most cruisers were disappointed with this stop Gibraltar was great fun and we had a great walk up to the cable cars to see the monkeys. You did not need to book trips as you could walk to most places There was a shuttle bus of £6.00 per person to Valencia and Morocco (we would however not recommend walking around in Morocco as we did not find this area safe). Cadiz and Catagena was on the doorstop and there was plenty of shopping to do with some great deals.

The boat is cashless and any extras are on the card for your account, This is debited once half way through your trip and then on the last night House cocktails were generally good and you could purchase additional cocktails for £1.50 on top of the Drinks Package. All soft drinks were branded. The only thing that was expensive on board was ice cream. We wasnt sure on dress wear and this was varied. Trousers were required in the waiter service, although these were informal and out son worse smart shorts when he went in to these restaurants. In the buffet style restaurant, where the food was far better than we had experienced at AI hotels, the dress was very casual. There was a wind on board at night and with the air con, it is best to take a cardigan. Embarking and Disembarking was very straight forward and you received itineraries in your room daily with port times to leave and be back on board. The gym was good if you like it, but was little time to attend. Entertainment was varied. There was a discos at night until approx 2.30am AI ended at 2am which was plenty. Just be careful of your mobile roaming on board as this is not treated as EU data at all times. Thomson cruises have got it spot on and we are already planning our next trip. We are hooked
