Our lucky cruise...not sure how many but it seemed to be over 100 15 year old teenage girls from Argentina celebrating womanhood !! They obviously were not properly chaperoned. They girls would adjust their bikinis into a g string and wear that into Garden cafe with only a t shirt for covering. I actually saw one girl in a bikini... decided to change shorts in the dining room. Looking at bare rear ends while eating lunch is just not our thing. Most of the people on board were rude and would just run you over instead of moving out of the way. This is our first cruise where we had only a few interactions/conversations with other cruisers. Not a very friendly group of people.

Food was below average. Very very long lines at the Garden cafe buffet..The Garden cafe service set up is very disorganized and many food items were not replenished in a timely manner. We would have to wait and compete with teenagers for popular food items. I stood in front of the caesar salad station and was ignored. Your food would be cold by the time you sat down to eat. Early morning coffee was available but the half and half dispenser would by empty. Beer was not very cold. Drinks were okay... but not consistent quality at the bars. Could not find one bar they could make a decent Margarita.

Great Stirrup Cay excursion was nothing but a very hot beach with long walks for food and drinks. Frozen drinks were not available on Stirrup Cay due to a power failure. The temps were in the 90's, high humidity and no breeze. Frozen drinks would have made the heat more bearable. Your beer would be warm and the ice in your drink would be melted by the time you walked back to your beach chair. We rented a shade tent for 35 dollar...... but even that did not help with the heat. We did not sample the food..it was too far to walk in the heat. We stayed for 2.5 hours and went back to ship. Norwegian never recognized or offered any apology for the power failure on Stirrup Cay. They have not responded to my emails. Read more
