Honestly, I would be giving a better recommendation if it weren't for one issue I experienced. The crew was paging/announcing messages across the ship all night long, most nights. One night it was 2am, 4 am another night, etc. One night it happened 4 times....2:20am, 2:43am, ~4am and ~6am. I am a light sleeper. This woke me up constantly and then I wasn't able to get back to sleep. This really ruined my cruising experience with RCCL. I have been on 2 Disney cruises in the past 3 years and they certainly did not make announcements all night long while people are sleeping. This definitely would prevent me from taking another RCCL cruise. If I can't enjoy a peaceful night's sleep while on vacation than why spend the money, I can stay home and sleep well. Why can't the crews turn off the speaker in the cabin areas if its not an emergency? And if they are paging a person someone needs to stop being lazy and go knock on the door of that guest vs waking up the entire ship.

The Windjammer Buffet was great, although seating wasn't sufficient on days people were trying to get off the ship at port. On days like this I would have thought a secondary location for breakfast in another dining room could have been provided. I was disappointed in the service and food quality in the main dining room for dinner. I waited over 30 minutes for a glass of wine and an iced tea. We ended up in the Windjammer most nights after giving up on the main dining room. There is only so much my 11 year old really wanted to deal with, he viewed the main dining room as a waste of his evening fun time. And really, two dress up days in a week? I am on vacation people!

Pool area and access was great. Other cruise lines don't have nearly enough pool space to accommodate 'at sea' day crowds. I thought this was an area that excelled on this ship. Long lines for the water slides.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Room was clean. Our room steward was great and my son loved the towel animals he left nightly. We were able to open our adjoining balcony doors with friends in the room next door. I did miss the split bathroom concept that other ships have.
