My wife and I were invited to spend a vacation on the Viking Hermod by my parents. Everything about our cruising experience was fantastic. The entire staff immediately made us felt special, and members of said staff who made us feel especially comfortable were Julian, Lee, Ana, Julita, Jay, Juver, Milan and Istvan. The ship was incredibly clean and our room specifically was checked three times a day to ensure cleanliness.

One of the biggest draws of the cruise were the included and optional excursions. Every port stop included at least two unique excursions and my family took full advantage. The tour guides enlisted by Viking were all tremendous, providing thorough and valuable information for the extent of our stay.

The on board experience, as expressed above, was just as great. Dinner was consistently a great experience, and when we weren't out and about on our exciting excursions, breakfast and lunch were also enjoyable, both in the dining room and on the aquavit terrace. Read more
