Wanted to visit both Montreal and Boston. Paid for a mini suite but it is a balcony room with a mini suite price. Room was dirty, trash found upon entering.Toilet bowl was a disgrace. shower did not work on day #2 Cabin attendants have 30 rooms to take care of and can't get the job done.Room had warped draws and cabinets,dirty carpeting, piece of molding missing from inside bathroom door.Hallways smelled from sewage.Meals were not good. No festivities for either Canada Da 150 th anniversary or for July 4th. Specialty Italian restaurant an extension of top floor buffet. cancel our reservation.Entertainment was awful. Specialty restaurants no bargain.Sent food back because it was over cooked. This ship needs a major overhaul.Depressing and dark throughout the ship.Service desk gives you lip service. Have taken 9 cruises on Princess,several on Norwegian lines and one on Royal Carib. This was the worst ship we have ever been on. A rip off for the price. We will never go on Holland America again. Our travel agent contacted them for some credit or reduction and Holland America did nothing. You go on a cruise for entertainment,relaxation and good food.You want to be pampered not aggravated and upset
