We chose this because it fit our time frame. The staff was alright but we had difficulties with our excursions not being what we expected, the quality of the food was poor, the ship showed its age. If we decide to cruise again we are pretty certain it will not be with Royal Carribean. As first time cruisers they had every opportunity to capture our business. It seems that once the disappointments start to compound then sort of ruins the experience in it's entirety. I recommend R.C. Update the ship, make the excursions more reliable especially to their private island and get new chefs that can cook tasty food. People pay good time and money for the experiences they claim to offer. Disappointments without hospitality should not be a part of their dialogue. They should make every effort to turn negatives into positive experiences for their patrons in order to maintain the reputation they project.
