Oh dear, It's been some years since my first cruise with P & O and what used to be a real luxury experience is now very disappointing. Ventura is tired and shabby and desperately in need of an up date. For quite a large ship it feels very claustrophobic, difficult to get a sun bed on sea days as all the decks are so crowded, the Waterfront restaurant feels like a hospital canteen, and the cabins are tiny.

The best restaurants all have an additional charge and were excellent. Good food and great service, but avoid the "all inclusive" restaurants at all costs.

Entertainment would be great at a holiday camp!! Although the kids club was very popular with my two and the staff there were great.
