Gave up on P and O cruises owing to declining standards. Have been with new favs Celebrity and Princess, but friends invited us on this cruise so we thought why not. Ventura was great, lively friendly crowd on board. Must admit the MDR food was superb, always hot, some starters smaller than expected but enjoyed. Buffet just the same, mad rush, cold meals by the time you get a table. Entertainment was good apart from dodgy comedians, Gareth Oliver Ventriliquist was superb, standing ovations both nights. Wow, how did Susan Boyle beat him. Will we return full time to P and O, probably not but now and again maybe. We onoy did one ship excusrion as they come in too expensive, La Palma Buggy adventure, was good but some people did nit realise the buggies were geared, amybe the ship should declare this., Embarkation easy and Cps parking superb. Drinks prices have increased dramatucally

Port Reviews

We per booked a Tuk Tuk with city tuk lisbon. What a mistake, their advert showed modern vehicles not the old smaller one sent to us, we got an apology but will never use them again. There were plenty on newer machines at port to hire and cheaper.

We took a tram to La Laguna, just a couple of euros each way and a lovely visit
