This was the third time my family and I have cruised the Pride. Embarkation pretty easy. Arrived at the port @ 11:15, told to come back @ 11: 30, did and we parked. From there through the whole process we were on the ship @ 12:30. Although once again the port employees seem to be a little on the uninformed side, but nothing too bad. The ship is in fantastic shape no matter what the nay sayers tell you. Food was excellent as usual. We did the breakfast sea day brunch one day, and the Dr. Seuss breakfast the last day, both outstanding. Breakfast on lido the other days, lots of selection, something for everyone, all breakfast bases covered. Lunch we did Guy's, Blue Iguana, and a little of the buffet. Guy's still the best burger at sea or land. Blue Iguana was terrific for breakfast and lunch, love the salsa bar. Buffet for lunch was ok. Deli & Pizza both very good. MDR meals were good to great. Did the YTD and only waited the last two nights maybe 30 minutes for a table. Service in MDR a little under what I was used to. You have to ask now for coffee or tea after dinner, they never asked us. Virtually no bar service in there as well, very hard to get a drink. Bar service around the ship was a little lacking on this trip, not enough roaming bar staff taking drink orders, after the first day I saw only one. I know some people do not like to be pestered / bothered by them, but I think Carnival has gone to the extreme in almost eliminating them (cutback?). As a consequence when you order a drink at an outside bar sometimes you will wait, as the poor bartender is swamped. The bartenders are employing a technique where they will ask 3-5 people what they want at one time, take their order & s & s card, and dish out the drinks in this manner. Not a very "bellying up to the bar" type atmosphere....just my observations. Cabin steward was very good, quickly cleaned our mess twice every day, and handled the few requests I gave him with ease and a smile.

Grand Turk- fantastic again. Walked down the beach to Jacks shack, where area is much nicer than the beach right by the ship. No rocks or sea weed.

HMC- had a Villa for the day. Villa is a must do, hot tub , drinks and snacks. First ones on the island and last ones off. Terrific day.

Premium Balcony

Cabin 9B

This is the second time I've had this room. Great cabin, lots of storage. Extra sq. footage is very nice. Huge balcony that fits two loungers , a chair, and a table.
