Royal Caribbean Ships are very good. have been on multiple size of their ships. Allure is overwhelming at first but you do learn your way around it. Activities had many to choose from. Staff was very cheerful and helpful. Shops -high end , not for me. I noticed that royal shops cut down their merchandise- not much variety. Parades were great.Getting on board and getting off board at the end were very quick. no back ups.Entertainment was good variety and very professional. Bingo changed but was still fun.Pools were good and could get away from the music and noise in the solarium. Room attendants were funny , cheerful and gave you want you asked for (running out of toiletries). Did my timing for dinner (first time) worked out well, just like if you had the traditional dinner times. Excursions to Nassau and St Kitts were very good and worth it. To St Thomas (Rumporium and More was a rip off ($49 pp). Explanation on website was deceiving. Implied that you were seeing some of St Thomas, not just this house next to downtown charlotte amelia. Went from Ship on a bus, zoomed past the black beard tower, to some Hag !!! house where walking tour began and all it was - walking into the old house where they had made rum and then went to the 2 rum testing rooms (took 1/2 hour)and that was it.Then time on your own. we had 3 hrs to kill in town unless you wanted to take a taxi back and pay more. I do not go on vacation to shop and rum is not my favorite drink (had 4 samplers). I could have taken a taxi from the ship for $4 to town to shop.
Extra money for balcony overlooking central park was worth it. very nice sitting out .
