Just got off the Norwegian Escape this morning. This was our 2nd Norwegian Cruise...and our LAST! Never make this mistake again. Had a poor experience last year on the Getaway. Norwegian offered us a discount on this one so we took a chance. First. Boarded the ship at 12:15 PM. They sent everyone to the Garden café...With our entire luggage!! Rooms were not available for almost 2 hours. Purchased a Meal Package at the specialty restaurants. Reservations were impossible after day 1. No one was willing to make exceptions. If you don't make your reservations as soon as you get on the Ship you’re screwed. 2nd. Toilets stopped working after 3rd day and continued to not work for 3 days. So from Tuesday to Friday my family along with others had to leave our staterooms and go to the restaurants to use the Toilets. 3rd Staff in the Garden Café now has you wait in line to get a cup with Ice. They fill up your glass. (Ridiculous). 4th. had to be on board by 2pm on Wednesday. Got to the Sushi restaurant on board at 1:39. Was turned away because they close at 1:30 pm. There were other diners eating. This to me seemed very petty. Ate there the following day and it wasn't worth the wait. Lastly and MOST importantly. We had the mini bar emptied upon Boarding so that we could use the fridge for our own items. Staff came into our room on Friday night while we were at dinner. They emptied our items from the Fridge. Left them on the counter and locked the fridge. I complained that this was an invasion of privacy. No one seemed to care. I spoke to other passengers and no one I spoke to was happy. Oh and don't count on sleeping. No one monitors the halls and kids run up and down the halls all night. They pounce on the floors. Last night it went on till 3AM. Again we notified staff on Wednesday but to no avail. In the future I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere.
