We chose the cruise because it had an interesting itinerary calling at a new port most days. Bad weather meant that this had to be slightly altered but that was inevitable and at no time were the sea conditions rough.The ship was very clean and well maintained. We had sailed with the line before and did not want to go on one of the huge cruise liners. Excellent food and service in the restaurant. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we were well looked after by the steward. Plenty of choice of entertainment in the evenings. We found the staff helpful. There was a wide choice of shore excursions with good local guides who were able to give us a lot on information about the places they lived and answer questions. I would choose to travel with CMV again especially as they are now starting to operate from Portsmouth which is more convenient for us.
