We were hoping for a positive culinary experience aboard this ship but was crestfallen to discover that this cruise line serves cafeteria food at best. Food in the dining room was stale, low-quality, and unappealing. Dining on the decent salad bar in the Windjammer Cafe became our only option. Additionally, beware of significant price changes. Before our trip we received a high number of emails stating that we better pre-book our drink packages because prices were "subject to change", giving the impression that you better hurry to buy the packages because the prices would go up. However, after boarding we found out that the drink package didn't go up but instead went down. We paid $26/per person/per day before we boarded only to find out on the ship that the price was $17/per person/per day. For a family of 5 this was a $210 difference! We asked customer service if they would kindly price match and the answer was no. Seems like a pretty easy thing to do in order to retain customers if you ask me. We will not be cruising on this line again.
