We left out of San Francisco for our 10 day cruise to Alaska. Embarking went very smooth. It did take awhile for all of our luggage to arrive to our room, but aside from that the embarkation process went very smooth.

The inside passage was so beautiful, it did not matter what side of the ship you were on. The food was delicious, would have liked a larger variety in the buffet, but all in all I was pleased. The Crown Grille is the way to go, hands down the best filet mignon ever!

Bingo was a blast, kareoke and dancing in the Explorers lounge was so much fun! There were a few disappointing times during kareoke though, there was a couple that insisted their kids sing from the movie Frozen, and then there was a man that acted like a very vulgar woman. Those were the times we got up and left.

Hi TeriBeam, we're so happy that you enjoyed your time onboard Grand Princess! Alaska is one of our favorite destinations as well. We hope to see you again soon, perhaps for another Alaskan...

The shower was perfect, once you set the temperature, the next time you get in its all set, instant hot water. The bed was divine, pillows were heavenly. We have acy=tually looked up princess beds :)
