Family cruise - 10 of us. The ship was amazing, staff was outstanding, despite there being 7,000 people on board, you could always find a comfortable place to enjoy the cruise. The food quality and availability was average. After-hours dining is basically nonexistent. If you like pizza, you are in luck - that's all they have available to you after the dinner hours. None of the bars have any snacks at all, not a single peanut or pretzel. There's no dining room open after the dinner service, and no convenience store with any snacks. The breakfasts were great, lunch was average, and dinner was also of average quality - the service was always impeccable. The quality of the drinks was outstanding complete with top shelf liquors and wines. If you buy the drink package, you will a lovely experience. If you pay by the drink, you had better be a light drinker. The cabin was great. The only complaint there is the mattress - very FIRM!! Other than that one item, we found the standard oceanside stateroom to be very nice and comfortable. The Total IQ app that they encourage you to use is terrible. The schedules posted are frequently incorrect, you cannot reserve or purchase anything with the app, but you can see options you have for excursions, and even get 7/8th of the way through the process of purchasing one before the app tells you it cannot find what you are looking for. After multiple frustrating attempts, we discovered that means they have no more availability. It would be SOOO simple for the app to tell you that in advance and save you about 20 clicks, but it does not. In summary, if you have kids, or are traveling with a large group and want to cruise on a stunning ship with a HUGE variety of on-board activities, then the Harmony and its sisters are the only way to go. If you're a foodie or want a comfortable mattress - go elsewhere.
