I wanted to start off by saying my family loves Royal Caribbean and though they're top rated, their recent price hikes cause me to look else ware when searching a cruise vacation. With the help of Costco Travel, we got a great deal on our accommodations which included the ultimate beverage package & 3 nights specially dinning. You would think that because we save some money, we're compromising on the services other competitors offer. Not so.

The dining options were refreshing and we never got bored. We only went to the Garden Café for breakfast. On our sea days we went to the O'Sheenan's for lunch. For our dinners we tried the specialty restaurants. Cagney's Steak House was outstanding. Le Bistro was delectable & refined. La Cucina was heavenly [you need to try the Ousso Bucco and the pasta was perfectly al dente]. Words can not describe how mouthwatering Moderno Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse was and that grilled Pineapple was so sweet & savory [not only the Chef stop by our table to see how we like the food but gave us his receipt for the Lamb Chops & the Pineapple offered. Lastly, the Food Republic was a nice surprise for us. I ordered my usual roll and my husband [who is not a sushi lover] ordered the Kobe Beef with the grilled Squid and we both loved our meals. We didn't try the Teppanyaki Japanese Hibachi Style. TIP1: make reservations for these restaurants. You don't want to have a heavy meal so late in the evening.

Our first port was Roatan and we booked a Beach excursion to [Tabayanna Beach]. ***Highly recommended***. The beach was private, the water was crystal blue, and it includes a barbecue lunch. They offered burgers, hot dogs, and chicken with rice. It was tasty but nothing extraordinary.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

Cabin M6

Our Mini-Suite was clean, comfortable, and a good use of space. Our terrace was phenomenal. It had two chairs, two small drink tables, two reclining chairs, and had room to spare. Now, I'm pretty OCD when it comes to my personal space so cleanliness is key for me. Our house keeper kept our room clean & neat with fresh towels every night.

Harvest Caye

Bring your swim shoes as the beach is course & rough on you r feet. But an excellent island to visit.

Cozumel

Ladies, get ready to shop, shop, & shop. And not just souvenirs.
