I can't understand the negative reviews. I usually don't write reviews but had to give our opinion.
Six of us,3 couples,got on the Majestic Princess at Singapore on 18th.June 2017 for 21 night cruise..We've done lots of cruises (23 for my wife & I) but this was a special cruise. We like band music & dancing and we've decided that Princess has the best bands of any cruise line.Over the 3 weeks on board we enjoyed 4 different bands. Happy hours with band music were a highlight.
We had early dining in the Symphony dining room and our waiter Erasto & his assistant Danny were wonderful ( 10/10). Food in the dining room was excellent & so was the Marketplace with a big variety of dishes and many Asian fruits that were new to us & that we enjoyed.

Cabin Review
We had a balcony cabin on Riviera Deck 14. We were happy with our cabin.Air-Conditioning worked well,bathroom space was adequate.Only minor complaint was the position of the toilet roll holder was at the extreme end of the cabin.
Port Reviews
Bangkok (Laem Chabang)
We took a shuttle to Pattaya but were not impressed.
Singapore
We visited the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore & thoroughly recommend the enclosed garden. However it can get cold & an extra pullover is advisable.
Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
We've been before so we only took a shuttle to a shopping centre, nice ride & some small item shopping.
Hong Kong
We loved Hong Kong especially coffee break in Peninsula Hotel (expensive) and lunch at a neareby restaurant was a highlight. Some friendly Princess passengers helped us buy subway tickets. Shopping was good.
Osaka
We took the subway &enjoyed the city on our own. Good food especially their signature dish of octopus in a delicious pastry.
