Our friends told us a year ago that they were going on a river boat cruise. After a 30 second discussion we decided to join them. It was the best vacation that we have been on. From Prague to Budapest the Viking family went out of their way to make our trip the best ever. The crew treated us with kindness, respect and great humor. Yanna and Ales in Prague went out of their way to help us with some difficulties there. Our room was always outstanding thanks to Ria and Vinnie. Thanks to chef Rene' the food was always great especially the fourth of July cake! Boril, Florin, Mr. Wong, and Natasha made our dining experience the best. Oliver and Sandar (also known as Shannon and Shorty) have a great sense of humor and worked hard to make our tours and entertainment entertaining and fun. The rest of the crew whose names evade us, except Ricardo, worked hard helping us make the transitions to tours and hotels easy. For those going on a trip like this a word of caution. Be careful to not wind up like me with a broken ankle six hours after arriving in Prague so you don't have to work the Viking folks so hard! We couldn't have enjoyed the trip quite so much if these outstanding people had not been so willing to help. Thanks to all these great people that made our trip memorable and worthwhile.

Cabin Review

Cabin balcony

This was an upgrade for us due to a broken ankle. Was very good, we could have used a bar in the shower (not the drinking kind) to help my wife stand when taking a shower. Warmed floors were a great plus. We're going to install at home!
