Pros: Rooms ALWAYS clean and ready, even if you only leave for a short time. CONS: Kids (9 and 12) did not enjoy at all the kids' options on the ship. The teen club covered the ages 12-17 which is a huge age gap, my 12 year old daughter went up on night one and told her mom she didn't feel comfortable with the older males who were already there. Rooms are VERY small, we got 2 rooms and were glad for it. Food in the main dining room was good but we experienced 1.5 to 2 hour dinner service EVERY night except the last when we ditched the formal dinner so we could make the family friendly comedy show - which was good. Main dinner service VERY slow and needs to be faster. The poolside movie was good and we should have taken advantage of that earlier. Also had good luck in the casino, hitting a few large wins on some slots and roulette. Also, prepare for a lot of Reggae and Island style music, probably a throw back from when the ship went out of Miami. We've sailed Carnival before both with and without the kids and the girls told us on the way off the ship this morning they want to do Carnival again. Disembarkation went smooth - skip breakfast, hand carry your luggage and get off the ship quickly.
Cabin was small but was ALWAYS clean and well attended. Cannot fit adults and kids in one room like on other ships so plan for 2 rooms in advance. Mattresses flat and not comfortable but we were so tired by the time we went to bed it didn't matter. Need to upgrade the tv's in the rooms, need reading glasses to see the screen, they looked like 13 inch monitors. Having said that, the crew was GREAT and always did their best to make sure you were happy with the arrangements.
