Convenience to Black Falcon Pier... no air travel... that is the only selling point that I have for this cruise.

My wife and I take this cruise each year (20 in all). And for the last 6 years this cruise (NCL Dawn) is just a rerun of past cruises. That is, same entertainment, same schedule, same everything. I would hope that NCL recognizes that it has many return cruisers on the Dawn. This year's entertainment was by far the poorest I have seen on any cruise. Aside from the rerun entertainment venue, the musical entertainment, especially in the Atrium, was boring and if you had insomnia then you would be cured. No energy, no excitement, no anything. In fact, the Atrium was empty when the entertainers were on stage. I have see it as standing room only on past cruises because the quality of the entertainment was so good and exciting.

The quality of the food in the buffet has improved since years' past. But, the quality of the food in LeBistro has definitely taken a plunge. I ordered Escargo as a app and when got it there were no "snails" to be found! Seriously. I informed the server who brought me another and guess what, I found tiny pieces of "snail", not the typical whole piece. Very skimpy!

Greate view for a balcony stateroom although the price was overdone!
