We took the Scandinavia and Russia NCL Breakaway cruise from Copenhagen, Denmark on 9th July 2017. We signed up for the BX Balcony Cabin (which said that BX Room may have a possibility of blocked view from our balcony, such as from the pillar or life boats).

Please note that we did some snooping and there are no balcony cabin with any sort of blocked views. The life boats were no issue at all). However, in actual fact - having a BX Room means that the room is next to the lift lobby and you will hear the toilet/ sewage flushing throughout the day - 24 hours literally. If you are a light sleeper, do not take the BX room.

The free show entertainment is unimpressive. I did not bother to watch any of the entertainment after watching the Opening Show on the first night. Read more
