Sail Date: Jun 2017

We are a family of 4 two boys 10 and 14. We chose this itinerary and not really the ship. First a bit about the ship. It is great for when you have some downtime in the Baltics as there is alot to do, the amenities are awesome, we were able to use the waterslides one day when we had good weather and most of the time the rock climbing wall, ropes course, kids spider climb etc. They really know how to keep people entertained outside. My kids were never bored. The food was excellent, sailing out of Europe you definitely see the quality difference we have sailed out of the US over 14 times on different cruise lines and this food was best. We did not do any extra dining.

What we did not like was the front desk service was awful, god help you if you have any issues, getting someone to care is difficult. The internet is horrific, save your money, I had to work and I almost lost my mind, I had better internet on a hop on hop of bus in Helsinki. That being said there is internet free at every stop and every cafe (except Russia). The other negative we found is we missed having an atrium, a focal point, it seems the venues and shops were just randomly planted around. It is not like after dinner you can go to a show as they are also randomly planted since there is not one unifying theater. We enjoy Royal Caribbean's promenade as well as Carnivals this ship was very chopped up.

By the way on deck 8 there is an outside boardwalk which is great with telescopes and glass floors and big chess board.
