We travelled with our two friends and chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary as we have sailed on The Celebration in the Eastern Med several times and fancied a change., After reading some of the reviews we were genuinely worried. However, from the minute we embarked on the ship we were astounded by the friendliness of all the staff. On our first night we were shown to a table and introduced to the waiters, Aris,Roy and the Wine Waiter, Ian, they were delighted to serve us and we were given this same table every night and indeed excellent service .The food was superb, a great variety, hot and well presented. Mr Abdullah the Restaurant Manager does an excellent job and very kindly gave us a bottle of champagne. We chatted to the Hotel Manager, Bell, who has the unenviable task of being in charge of the whole hotel section of the ship, which he does with extreme efficiency and still has time to chat! He gave us some gorgeous red wine with his compliments, which was greatly enjoyed!

As we have sailed 16 times with Thomsons we were invited to a Cocktail Party, hosted by the Captain and Senior Officers which was most enjoyable and we were thanked by the Captain for our loyalty to Thomsons.

The staff in the bars worked very hard and we were always served very quickly. Last year on the Celebration we had to wait some time to be served, but never this year. Niki, Ella, Kiwan and Joshua deserve a special mention, as they always had a little chat and were so friendly.
