Everything was top notch. The service was excellent. The staff remembered your preferences and were eager to please. The quality of the complimentary wine was excellent. The quality of the food in both the full service and buffet restaurant was also excellent. The Cruise Director was an extraordinary entertainer. If he was preforming then you knew to get to the lounge early as he always preformed to a standing room only crowd. I enjoyed the lectures on the history of Norway, and my mother enjoyed the duplicate bridge. The passengers were mostly well educated upper level professionals, who were delightful.

The Captain was engaging, entertaining, and always present. Thanks to the Captain, the ship was able to divert to an inside passage when the weather was creating large swells. The ship also diverted to pick up strawberries and goat cheese. The Captain conducted an Oil Rig Safari commenting on many of the oil rigs we passed.

The cabin was large and always had fresh flowers.
