This was our first trip on the BA. We had heard from so many people that they repeatedly take this same cruise to Bermuda, we sadly set our expectations too high. Having sailed on the Spirit through the Med last year, we expected the same level of service. It was not to be found on this ship.

Embarkation: The Port of NY is big and noisy. While there are a lot of NCL people in the Port, it was a bit confusing about where to go, what line to get in etc. We missed the area for wheelchair assistance because it was not well marked. Once we got that squared away, check in went smoothly. I would say it was more efficient than friendly. Our cabin was still being cleaned once we got on the ship so we went aft to watch the ship leave NY harbor. Great views. Our luggage did not show up for several hours.

Room 10262: The standard balcony cabin offered plenty of storage and a decent sized bathroom and shower. The balcony was rather small. Only room for 2 people and a small table. The chairs had to be placed on the balcony in a certain way or they would hit the door and it could not be closed.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BB

The cabin was fine. Appeared to be clean. Bathroom was bigger than expected, plenty of storage. Shower was larger than on the Spirit.

Location was ideal. Close enough to the elevators, minimal noise.
