Traveled with children

Actually my kids chose this cruise, because they were in their HS Marching Band and played Scottish music, naturally they want to learn more about Scotland.

We stayed in London for 3 days before getting onto the ship. The embarkation was fast and painless. I still remember it use to take forever and loads of paper work. I have to say from the time we arrived at the port, drop off the luggage, check in and walk up to the ship, it took less than 30mins! Our luggages was delivered to our cabin in no time at all.

Food: We had a nice lunch at the World Market Place. The staffs were nice and very attentive to our needs. Dining room, they put our kids at a separate table, which was corrected after the first night. We had dinner at the dining room every night, the food and service were good.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OV

Our cabin was fine, a little tight, but our kids cabin seems to be a bit more room, they were next door! We booked obstructed OV to save money since we won't be in the cabin except to sleep and shower. I can use the money for other things. I like how the closet is open and plenty of room to store our suitcases and plenty of hangers too.

Port Reviews

Cobh (Cork)

Took the train, and bus to Blarney Castle.

Greenock (Glasgow)

Walked to the mall and did a little shopping.

St. Peter Port (Guernsey)

Walked over to Cornet Castle. Tender going back to the ship was awful, waited over 2.5 hours!!!

Belfast

Did my own tour to Giants Causeway.......AMAZING

Dublin

Did my own tour to Cliffs of Moher.

Invergordon (Inverness)

I arranged my own excursion, tour around Loch Ness, visited the Urquhart Castle, Falls of

Foyer, and Culloden Battlefield.

Edinburgh (South Queensferry)

Tender to port, took too long. Long wait for shuttle to town, cost 10GBP. It was not organize at all. I guess Princess contracted the local bus company to take passengers to town, the ladies were nice, but the man in the front was not friendly at all. He pretty much accused me of lying how long we waited in line. We waited an hour in line for the shuttle, he claimed we only waited for 35 mins! WRONG!!! I will be a lady and not pick a fight at foreign land.

Le Havre

There was a shuttle waiting to take passengers to town, but it's not free. They charge to your cruise account, I think it was $9 r/t.
