Wanted to take my dad on an Alaskan cruise. My husband and I have been cruising since 2003. We took this exact cruise, exact ship to the exact port in 2007. At the time, NCL was my favorite as they were the first ones to introduce anytime dining.

Coming back to the ship, service has truly gone down. No longer have formal nights, no longer serve lobster and shrimp cocktail was all but removed from the dinner menu when it used to be a staple. The hardest hit was the "convenience charge" for room service!

Also, being that this was a more muted trip and a lot of elderly with disabilities, passengers are RUDE. They see that we have a wheel chair waiting for the elevators, yet these able bodied lazy people rush the elevators...ABLE BODIES rushing the elevator seeing that I am waiting for the elevator. so we wait for another elevator to come Guess that trip to the buffet was just too much to ask these people to walk it off and use the stairs.

Cabin BC

Our cabin was great. There was three of us traveling with a wheel chair and a wheeled walker. What I didn't like was that we had to sleep on twin beds. both my dad and I slept on twin bed while my husband 6'2" and 230 lbs slep on a bunk bed. but we had plenty of room for both the wheel chair and my dad's walker

Seattle

too many people at pike's market place, it was hard to find parking

Juneau

just walked around and shopped for gifts

Skagway

we instead walked up to the 6th & Broadway to see a show called Days of 98. Best show Skagway has to offer!!!
