Ship was an engineering marvel and impeccably appointed. The crew was friendly, accommodating and gave incredibly personal service. Entertainment on board was top notch. Food was better at some places than others, but I am a food snob. There are definitely alot of people on board and if I had one or two complaints it is that people should take a refresher course in good manners before boarding....there are rules in polite society and we are all trying to get somewhere too..... and also DEODORANT IS MANDATORY!!!! despite what you do at home. Too many people too close of quarters to be stinking like some people were doing!!!! Can be a bit overwhelming especially for a novice cruiser like we were, but things settle down and it gets easier to manage and lines for activities (slides, rockwall etc) get smaller as it goes on especially if you get back from your excursion earlier than others. Seems like there a little tips and tricks that can make things smoother, so I would suggest talking with an experienced cruiser before embarkation. If I had any suggestions for future cruisers other than minding your hygiene and manners. Definitely download the cruise app on your phone so you always have a schedule at your fingertips (plus all the other functionality, it's a pretty good app) And also if you disembark thru port everglades us the mobile passport app. That shortened our time in customs by 95%. Thoroughly enjoyed despited a few missteps. Would def cruise again and only on a ship of this class and would highly recommentdto others!!!!

Beautiful Ship! Accomodating crew! Entertainment excellent. Lot of people tho

Cabin Review

Cabin 10602
clean, comfortable, nice ocean view balcony to relax on. Tight but that is to be expected on a ship with 3 people in one room. Shower/water pressure a pleasant surprise!

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Mayan Ruins
Very informative and interesting and not a long drive. Included a quick stop at a protected beach and tour of the Mayan Chocolate Factory with tasting. Again very interesting, learned alot about Mayan culture at both places. Short time to shop, wish there had been more time to explore Playa Mia

  • Dunn's River Falls
Both landscapes beautiful and fun. However we thought the Dunn's River Falls climb was billed as "at your own pace" You are basically herded up the falls with a guide like a line of cattle. Which was OK, but we would have preferred to explore and take photos as a family on our own schedule. HATED the high pressure sales the locals use to get you to buy cheap souvenir crap. The salespeople definitely turned me off on any shopping I might have done

  • Green Grotto Caves
Interesting, informative tour of the caves. And our tour bus guide gave us a lovely presentation on Jamaica while we were going from place to place

  • Arawak Aqua Park
We booked the Dreamworks photo safari. Thought it was going to be a little more challenging. Wish it had been more of a scavenger hunt, instead of just a way to lead to down to water park. Would have probably just enjoyed more time in water park. The little gifts they gave the kids were nice tho and the party/meet & greet with the trolls was cute
