We chose Viking because of the constant advertizing. We did check out where Viking stands as regards pricing and found it to be above the average price. But we found the price commensurate with the quality.
We could not have been more happy with our experience. Viking personnel were everywhere they were needed, at our arrival and departure hotels, at all connections where we could have possibly gotten lost or confused, at the shore excursions. They took great care, and were always cheerful. We've never seem such attention to detail, presentation, cleanliness and genuine cheerfulness. We never experienced any Viking personnel who did not stop what they were doing, look us in the eye, pause, and give us 100% of their attention!
Of course, we expected great food and presentation. We were not disappointed. We had three choices of appetizer, main course and deserts. The food was prepared well, very tasty, and presented very attractively.

Veranda Stateroom
We noted how much storage space was available. My wife and I had ample space for hanging clothes, drawer space, as well as a place for our luggage under the bed. Bathroom amenities were great and resupplied prior to need. We found no cobwebs or dust bunnies, ever. In the 15 minutes we were at breakfast, our room had been straightened, bed pulled up, and bathroom cleaned. WOW.
