We chose this cruise because we felt this ship met all the needs of our family ranging in age from 12 to 70. We enjoyed the itinerary- Horseshoe Beach and the caves in Bermuda, day passes to Divi Beach resort in St. Maarten, exploring El Moro and Old San Juan on our own, and a picture perfect day in Haiti. We divided our meals between the dining room and Windjammer- the kids love the variety selections and desserts in the Windjammer. No complaints about the food. The SeaPlex was perfect for 2 of the 3 grandchildren. Our 13 year old liked to play the XBox- but only 1/2 of the machines were running. RC should check them and fix them regularly. Don't expect constant surpervision for your children- RC staff is not always present. A hint- get to the ship early the first day and do all the activities available in this area. My son and grandson were the only 2 on the Florider for over an hour and received free instruction! Do the bumper cars- no line! we also rode the North Star the first day- no reservation needed and short line! We never got to do ifly because it closed down the last 2 days due to malfunction- so book early in cruise. Book ifly and North Star online before cruise. Entertainment is outstanding- we loved WWRY and Spectra's Cabaret. The tribute band was OK, Elton John and the Edge were great. Not enough music for dancing if you are in the older crowd. Book your shows as soon as they become available. Our only complaint (and this may seem trivial to most of you) was Michael's Pub craft beer selection- or lack of. When we boarded, they were out of 8 of their 10 advertised craft beers (permanent menu listings). They ran out the previous cruise and never restocked in NYC . before we embarked. We sailed on the Anthem 1/2/2017 and enjoyed Happy Hour every night in the gastropub- but not this cruise. I felt really bad for the bar staff who lost a lot of money from tips they missed - and had to with disappointed, sometimes angry customers who had drink packages and could not get the promised beers. We will cherish the memories and photos from this cruise. Have fun!
