We had an absolutely amazing time on the Anthem of the Seas! The ship itself is a fairly new ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet - Anthem of the Seas had its maiden voyage in April 2015. With this in mind, the ship had a vast array of features and activities that one can take part in: from bumper cars and trapeze in the Seaplex, FloRider, an indoor skydiving experience, rock climbing and much more.

In terms of dining: you can choose from a traditional dining time (5:30 pm or 8:15 pm) or My Time Dining (flexible dining time) in the main dining room. The 'main dining room' is split up into 4 restaurants: Chic, The Grande, Silk and American Icon Grill. All for restaurants serve the menu but our decorated differently. For example, Chic had a modern design with light colours that really make the restaurant have that open feel.

Moving on to entertainment. The cruise director Dru and his team organised an array of activities for one to take part in on both cruising days and port days, from trivia and dance class. The evening entertainment was always at a high level. From their original production The Gift, the West End production of We Will Rock You, and the technological extravaganza of Spectra. When these shows were not on there was a number of headline acts, from comedians to concerts and more. We were never disappointed!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Slightly bigger than average for a balcony cabin, plenty of wardrobe space and an average size balcony with two deck chairs and a small table. This was the perfect size cabin for 2 adults.
