Was a bit worried after reading a few negative reviews for the Pacific Jewel. We booked a 9 night cruise to the South Pacific islands during the school holidays. From the minute we got on to the minute we got off, we had a great time. The ship is in excellent condition, nice decor and very clean. Service from the staff on board was terrific. Our cabin steward, Sanjay, was very attentive and kept our cabin ship shape! The waiters were very polite and gave great service. There is so much entertainment on board that you can choose to do or not to do.

Our cabin was great. A lot of hanging space with hangers and loads of drawers. The dining areas were excellent, from the Waterfront Restaurant to The Pantry, food was excellent.

We ate at Luke Mangin's Salt Grill, and had to pay for this, but was so worth it. $49 per head for an amazing 3 course meal.I would recommend it highly. Read more
