Cabin: Balcony

Chose this itinerary (Half Moon Cay-St. Thomas-San Juan-Grand Turk) because these were all new destinations for us and it left out of our hometown: Miami, FL.

PROS:

Service was outstanding; ship was spotless all week; cabin stewards kept room clean and ice bucket filled daily; hilarious late-night adult-content comedians in the Punchliner;

Balcony

Cabin 8B

Pros: very spacious; balcony brought lots of light into the room; ample storage space; bathroom layout took good advantage of wall space for shelves; desk area good for laptop use (see note below); mattress was very soft and enveloping; pillows too soft for our taste; AC worked very well

Cons: why was there only one 110v outlet in the entire room (on the desk/vanity area)? Not acceptable in a day when we're living off battery powered devices. Why was the hairdryer attached to the inside of a dresser drawer with only 15" of cord? This made for hilarious photos and a really pissed off guest. Wet hair was the rule of the day.
