We wanted to go to the Caribbean and we told Royal Caribbean was very good. Sadly it was not. It was out third cruise and after this experience it may be our last cruise. It was like a floating Motel 6. The food was mediocre at best. The same thing for lunch everyday buffet style. The food was always cold and the food could be found at any cheap, all you can eat buffet for $7.99. We were on deck 7. The entire hallway smelled of sewer gas and on day 3 they had put fans throughout the hallway. Our bathroom smelled of sewer/urine and the room smelled of mold/mildew. We did complain to the front desk and the next day they were in the room doing something. The smell returned the following day and they put a fan in our room stating they thought the carpet was wet due to a leak in the bathroom. The room itself desperately needed remodeled. We were told the ship was going into dry dock in January 2018 for refurbishing. Seems like they wanted to get a few more cruises out of it before they dry docked it. The entertainment was good and the service was excellent. The waiters, deck hands, cleaning crew were all very polite and friendly.
