We had a great cruise aboard the Celebrity Summit. This was our "free" cruise for reaching Zenith, which was, however, far from free. We wanted to be in a Suite so we paid the difference in the room price, plus this was a 9 day cruise and the "free" cruise was a 7 day cruise. That being said, it was a great cruise and Captain Alex, made sure that our Zenith recognition was indeed very very special. We were invited privately to the bridge and met by his entire senior crew and given models of the ship, and a GIANT cake which spelled out Zenith. Then that evening we had a private dinner in Tuscan Grill with the Captain and his executive team. Captain Alex has a great personality and he and his team made sure we felt special and recognized. The Sky Suite we were in was very nice, could use some new drapes, but there was nothing in the cabin which made us feel the least bit uncomfortable. We ate our dinners in Luminae and from the Hostess, Laurence to the incredible waiter Paolo, to the very best sommelier we have ever had, Maggie, dinners were all excellent. We had most of our lunches in the buffet and pool grill and always found something to our liking prepared well. The entertainment was much better than the usual shows. Celebrity took the production of their shows back "in house" and they were indeed better. Service from our excellent butler Pavel and room steward Made were also excellent and never lacking. We enjoyed Newport RI, although we are not fans of the tenders, and also had a great time in Boston. Bermuda was very relaxing, there is not much there other than beaches and some shopping. The larger ships dock at the dockyard and you have to take a bus or ferry to get to Hamilton or St. George. To be honest, Hamilton lacked some of the charm it had on our visit long ago.

An overall great cruise

Cabin Review

Cabin

The penthouse is incredible. It has a living and dining room, a bedroom, a dressing room, a master bathroom and guest bathroom with shower, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, a baby grand piano and a gorgeous foyer. It is 1500 sq. ft. of heaven with a great 1500 sq. ft. balcony.
