Sailed from Civitiveccia on 6/28 for a 7 night Western Med Cruise. Embarkation was smooth and our luggage was delivered real quick! As many have commented the cabin layout is not the best, but I will say that there really is plenty of storage for your items. We had a Large Balcony Cabin, and the balcony was about 150% of a regular balcony. We did not dock in Livorno (our first port) due to high winds and heavy seas. Wave height was 12' to 15' but the ship remained smooth and steady. Service was mostly friendly and efficient. There was a breakfast or two in Taste where the service could have been a bit better. Amenities on the ship are nice overall. The kids (11 and 14) were disappointed in the pool. The 14YO said that the Teen club was good and made a few friends there during the evening hours. My 11YO did not care for the facilities for his age. The itinerary and ports were good and the ship was okay, but nothing exceptional. We had the free drink package and specialty dining which we felt was a great value. Fair price for what you receive. The best part of the ship was the entertainment which was REALLY good. Again nothing exceptional, but nothing really bad either.
