Just got off the ship today - I will list the pro's and cons as we experienced them. Pro's: Staff was friendly. Room was specious (deluxe balcony room) and storage was plentiful. We loved this itinerary and enjoy longer cruises. Cons: Restaurants - they have a very limited and poor selection of restaurants - especially if you are from the NY/NJ area (we know good food). Jaimes is just terrible Italian food (think Olive Garden). Izumi - incredibly small - food was just OK - nothing special - better sushi from my local place. Wonderland - it was a unique experience but the food was not good, again just OK. Chops is by far the best restaurant on the ship - Dondee was an amazing waiter who could not do enough to make us happy. All of our meals were superb. Michaels pub - food stunk but had the best entertainment on the ship - you must go there when Charlie is performing - he is fantastic! Main dining room - the one evening we wanted to eat in the main dining room (we were Chopped out) we could not get in - there were over 150 people in line for 2 restaurants - apparently the Grande and Chic are only for Diamond or Pinnacle members - so 2 dining rooms for most people. Windjammer offered some good meals and they were very accommodating to our Vegan daughters dietary needs, though there was very little for her to eat on this cruise. Solarium Bistro - similar to the windjammer - less crowded and quiet. They are seriously lacking good food options and we were disappointed in the choices available. ENTERTAINMENT Perhaps it is because we live close to the city or we go out often but we heard similar sentiments from other travelers we met up with - the entertainment on this ship was seriously lacking. Shows - The Gift - was entertaining and short - 45 minutes - our choice for the best of the 3 main shows offered. Spectra Caberet - we thought this was just awful - this space has tremendous potential but this show was not enjoyable. We Will Rock You - We did not enjoy this show - they have redone it from years previously and we felt it was lacking. - We id her from those who stayed longer than half way through that the finale was very good - we could not make it that long. Venues - Music Hall - for the most part was a good place to enjoy some music Michaels Pub - Charlie is by far the most entertaining and talented performer on the entire ship - 100's of songs off the top of his head with no sheet music and he sounds like whoever's song he is singing. Loved him! The latin dance bar seemed like fun when we walked by but we never went in. Bionic Bar - worst drink we had on the ship - really Schooners - great place for a drink and for Trivia OVERALL Royal Caribbean is pushing the hard sell - when you walk on the ship you are inundated with people trying to sell you drink packages and meal plans - aggressive would be an understatement. We did not appreciate or enjoy this hard sell and our lunch was interrupted several times with people trying to sell us things. T

Cabin Review

Cabin 11534
I was initially concerned with this being so close to Adventure Ocean - not an issue at all - we never heard them at all. Spacious and plenty of storage - we had 3 people in our stateroom and it was fine.
