The region was new for my wife and I and with this being a new ship, it made it an attractive choice. It is a nice ship that was built specifically for the Asian/Chinese market. All signage is in English and Cantonese, and motif along same lines. We has sailed its sister ship Royal Princess and liked that one more. The size of this ship restricted its ability to use some ports and terminals closer to the major cities thus creating lengthy drives for excursions on this itinerary. Since the Majestic will now be based in Shanghai for next 8-9 months, we don't know if it will sail the same ports and have same docking locations. All in all we had a good time and enjoyed the facilities this ship had to offer. One major issue we had on this cruise is lack of orderly process for immigration clearance. There were no officers monitoring people arriving at scheduled times. This resulted a waiting in line for 1.5 hours to complete a 2-3 minute clearance by South Korean officials.
Cabin was nice and satisfied our needs. We thought the room was a little smaller than its sister ship as well as the balcony.
