Just wanted a getaway to reconnect and enjoy our little family, time is the most precious thing we have. Disney pulls out all the stops, every crew member we encountered was in good spirits, our server team for dinner made our meals even more enjoyable. Keeping everything in perspective don't go on this cruise for the pools, the Aqua Duck is fun but the pools are teeny tiny. If you are accepting of this and knowing this ahead of time you will have a great sailing. The ship was unbelievably clean from the common area's to the bathroom facilities. The cabin was adequate just wish stateroom etiquette was included in the Navigator or posted within the rooms, some people can't contain their excitement :-)
The ports and excursions seem average kind of going through the motions, we plan and book our own with the help of our library and the internet. Hard pressed to sail in the future if not with Disney, the attention to detail is amazing. The cruise director's have so much energy also, we booked another while on board this one, it was euphoric...just that much fun.
Very spacious, nice splurge! Clean and quite pretty. The concierge lounge and crewmembers are very kind but we wish there was an option to book this room without the concierge tethered to it. We needed the room but did not need to be fawned over as we just found everything on the ship to be more than adequate and honestly it just felt a bit pretentious. The cabin itself was in very good shape, looked brand new. Closet space was everywhere and the little dining room table was a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great. Some noise from above when they cleaned the deck and from chairs sliding across the deck but it was not a deal breaker for us, just learned to tune it out.
